Eligibility with NDIS

A person with disability that is likely to be permanent and disability makes it difficult to take part in everyday activities.

To access the NDIS fund  individual would need to meet early disability criteria, or a child to meet the early intervention requirements, age and residency requirements to be eligible.

To make application for eligibility funding under the National Disability Insurance Scheme you would need to meet below criteria:


Have a permanent impairment which significantly affects your ability to take in daily activities, or a child with developmental delay syndrome.

Be aged less than 65 when you make application to enter the NDIS,

Live in Australia in an NDIS jurisdiction,

Be an Australian citizen, or permanent resident, or protected special category visa (Let us know if you require information regarding transition and your location eligibility)

Managing your funds & method of services

If you are receiving funding through the Department of Communities Services (Disability Services), or NDIS… you may be aware that you have the right to make a choice from main types of approved management, as well as payment structures that suits just your own way.

The choice, right and responsibility are yours to how you wish to manage your funding and regardless of your chosen pathway based decision, your right is paramount to the services and methods of approach regardless.

Self-managed

Be aware, in any pathway, you have the choice and control over providers, or services assisting you.

It is advisable to use established providers.
